Job Overview:
The Chargé·e des Approvisionnements will be part of a team of six people, supporting the growth of the organization. This position is responsible for managing international procurement and import-export activities for all missions of Solidarités International. The individual will also oversee stock management and provide active support and advice to Logistics teams regarding international procurement. The role involves working under the supervision of the Supply Chain Manager and closely collaborating with the purchasing officer, while also supervising the work of the service assistant. The Chargé·e des Approvisionnements will ensure that international purchases and import-export operations are conducted efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the organization's missions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The main duties and responsibilities of the Chargé·e des Approvisionnements include:
  • Supervising and/or directly managing international purchases and import-export operations for all missions of Solidarités International.
  • Conducting necessary purchases for the establishment or replenishment of contingency and Emergency stock.
  • Managing stock across various categories including field, contingency, after-sales service, and emergency supplies.
  • Participating in the adaptation, evolution, and/or creation of tools and procedures for the purchasing and procurement services.
  • Collaborating with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient procurement processes.
  • Providing training and guidance to team members on procurement best practices and procedures.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the Chargé·e des Approvisionnements position include:
  • A technical background in logistics and significant experience in logistics roles.
  • Previous field experience with NGOs, particularly in emergency humanitarian responses, is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Computer Applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is essential.
  • A technical specialization in areas such as international transport or stock management would be an asset.

Educational Background:
Candidates should possess a technical education in logistics or a related field. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of supply chain management and procurement processes within humanitarian contexts.

Experience:
Candidates are expected to have significant experience in logistics roles, ideally with a focus on international procurement and supply chain management. Experience working in humanitarian settings, particularly in Emergency Response, will be highly regarded.

Languages:
Fluency in French and English is mandatory, with a very good level of reading, writing, and speaking required in both languages. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not mandatory.

Additional Notes:
The position is based at the headquarters of Solidarités International in Clichy, France, with possible field travel. It is a permanent contract (CDI) with a managerial status. The gross monthly salary ranges from €2,865 to €2,985, depending on the current salary scale at the headquarters. There is an option for remote work, allowing for up to four days of telecommuting per month, subject to the existing telework charter and manager approval. Employees are entitled to 2.0833 vacation days per month and one additional day off (RTT) for each complete month of work. The organization also offers a mutual insurance plan covering 80%, meal vouchers covering 60%, and transportation costs covered at 50%.
