Job Overview:
The Change Manager will play a crucial role in managing the change process associated with the implementation of a new Finance & Supply Chain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and a new HR Information System (HRIS). This position requires close collaboration with key stakeholders across Concern’s Head Office, support offices, and various country locations to ensure a smooth transition and successful adoption of these new systems. The Change Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive Change Management strategies, plans, and activities that facilitate the deployment of the new systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all employees are adequately prepared for the changes and that the organization can effectively navigate the transition period.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Change Manager will be tasked with several key responsibilities, including: developing and implementing change management strategies and plans to support the rollout of the new ERP and HRIS solutions; conducting change impact assessments to identify potential challenges and risks associated with the implementations; performing skills gap assessments across target user groups and devising measures to address these gaps; collaborating with project teams, department heads, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for change initiatives; designing and delivering Training Programs and materials to prepare employees for the new systems; effectively communicating with all levels of the organization to ensure awareness and understanding of the change process; monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of change management activities and making necessary adjustments; providing support and guidance to employees during the transition period; managing resistance to change and addressing any concerns or issues that arise during the implementation process; and upholding and promoting Concern’s values, demonstrating leadership on workplace equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a range of mandatory qualifications, including experience working in an international environment, particularly in fragile or conflict-affected contexts. Proven experience in change management, especially in ERP implementations, is essential, along with a solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. Candidates should have excellent English language written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent organizational and planning abilities, and experience in developing and delivering training programs are required. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines, while exhibiting flexibility, adaptability, and a sense of humor.
Educational Background:
