Job Overview:
The CCCM Program Coordinator will work under the supervision of the CCCM Program Coordinator and the National Project Officer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the rollout of IOM CCCM programs, supporting the IOM CCCM unit. This position requires a proactive approach to managing and coordinating day-to-day operations at the Community Resource Center (CRC), ensuring that activities align with established Standard Operating Procedures and Terms of Reference. The candidate will be responsible for engaging with local actors and community leaders to foster project ownership and maintain effective communication. The role also involves monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying gaps, and ensuring accountability towards the site population. The candidate will need to travel frequently to oversee project implementation and engage with stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure oversight of CRC activities in accordance with CRC Standard Operating Procedures and Terms of Reference.
  • Manage and coordinate daily operations at the CRC.
  • Support and supervise CRC staff, field assessment teams, and focal points.
  • Assist the CCCM PM and field assistant in engaging local actors and community leaders for project Coordination.
  • Report on needs raised at the CRC to contribute to information materials and sharing activities.
  • Monitor and report on workplan accomplishments, identifying potential gaps and delays.
  • Provide weekly reports on activities, progress, and recommendations to the Supervisor and CCCM Mobile Team.
  • Conduct multi-sector needs assessments and service provision monitoring at the site level.
  • Facilitate accountability towards the site population through information sharing and feedback mechanisms. 1
  • Monitor site governance systems and ensure the population is informed about available assistance and services. 1
  • Report any service delivery gaps or duplications promptly. 1
  • Undertake duty travel for effective task implementation. 1
  • Engage in field monitoring and roving activities. 1
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in political or social sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, or related fields from an accredited institution, along with three years of relevant professional experience. Alternatively, a High School Diploma with five years of relevant experience is acceptable. Candidates should have experience in Camp Coordination and Camp Management, with a strong ability to engage with community members and stakeholders respectfully. Familiarity with the local area is desirable, as is experience with participatory fieldwork and methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and experience in documenting and reporting project activities are also required.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in political or social sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, or related fields is required. Alternatively, a High School Diploma with five years of relevant professional experience is acceptable.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience if they hold a Bachelor’s degree, or five years if they have a High School Diploma. Experience in Camp Coordination and Camp Management is mandatory, while experience in managing mobile teams and liaising with governmental authorities and local communities is desirable. Familiarity with participatory fieldwork methodologies is also beneficial.

Languages:
Fluency in English (oral and written) is required for all applicants. A working knowledge of Pashto or Dari is also required, while fluency in all national languages is highly advantageous.
