Job Description

Your overall responsability will be to lead ACF Yemen's advocacy activities, including participation in advocacy Coordination forums and production of advocacy materials.

More specifically, you will be in charge of:
  • Updating the countrywide advocacy strategy
  • Producing documents on previously agreed on topics
  • Supporting HQ advocacy and communications teams with production and dissemination of statements and/or talking points
REQUESTED PROFILE You have a Masters' degree in International Relations, International Law" id="link" class="link">Humanitarian Law, Social Sciences, politics, development studies, or similar fields.

You have a strong and demonstrated expertise in humanitarian Advocacy and/or representation, negotiation and influence of aid policies.

You have at least 2 years' experience in advocacy and a demonstrated working experience in policy Analysis, Data Collection, analysis and interpretation (both qualitative and quantitative data), writing and production of reports, policy briefs and publications.

English fluency is compulsory.

The knowledge of the Yemeni context is an advantage.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY
  • 12 months fixed term contract under French legislation
  • Monthly gross salary from 2010 to 2335EUR upon experience
  • Monthly per diem and living allowance: 728 USD net, field paid
  • Monthly country allowance: 450EUR
  • 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens
  • Monthly Expert Allowance: 200EUR
  • Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
  • Medical coverage: 100% coverage of medical expenses and repatriation insurance
  • Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 EUR at each RnR period
