Job Summary
The Advisor is part of the Global Risk & Compliance (GRC) Team. The two primary functions of this team are: a) Provide strategic direction and oversight to OverOps global compliance systems, internal and ex ternal, and b) Manage global risk and compliance programs and portfolios, and implementation of compliance & risk strategy for overseas operations. In close collaboration and partnership with the Safeguarding, Partnership and Capacity Strengthening (PCS), and KML Units, the Advisor co-designs and administers CRS’ Compliance Program for Safeguarding in accordance withCRS Safeguarding Policy and consistent with donor requirements. In addition, the Advisor is responsible for global Administration of CRS’ Trafficking in Persons (TiP) USG Compliance Plan and Procedure.
Roles and Key Responsibilities
Coordinate Design and global implementation of CRS’ (Sub)Recipient/Partner Compliance Program for Safeguarding using CRS’ internal information Management Systems (IMS), specifically:

- Support development and/or improvement of the procedure,
- Design and deployment of CRS Partner Safeguarding Compliance System within CRS IMS infrastructure,
- Oversee and manage the (Sub)Recipient/Partner Compliance Safeguarding portion of CRS Global Compliance Dashboard
- Provide technical assistance, train, and support users,
- Coordinate compliance, monitoring and internal reporting,
- Influence disciplined compliance execution and performance,
- Attend regular Coordination meetings with the Safeguarding team and Partnership and Capacity Strengthening (PCS) team regarding the implementation and progress of the Partner Safeguarding Compliance Program.
- Maintain and improve the procedure and the plan,
- Provide technical assistance, train, and support users,
- Coordinate compliance, monitoring and internal reporting,
- Includes review and processing of compliance forms and certifications
- Oversee TiP portion of CRS Global Compliance Dashboard
- Influence disciplined compliance execution and performance.
- Perform other duties within the portfolio of the Global Risk & Compliance Unit as required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master's degree in relevant field of study is a plus, but not required.
- Experience: 3 years of prior related work experience required, preferably with one-year international experience. Prior CRS experience as an employee, consultant or Intern preferred.
- Ability to think analytically and act methodically
- IT/ Data Logic & Data Analysis skills
- Proficiency in Office 365 suite (especially Excel, Power BI, Power Apps, Teams)
- Strong writing skills: ability to write clearly and succinctly
- Effective communication skills in remote environment (Email, Teams etc.)
- Ability to get things done in a matrix structure
- Strong sense of customer care and service
- Mastered ability in receiving and providing feedback
- Ability to improve continuously
- Strong planning/organizational and analytical skills
