Job Description

Tetra Tech International Development Services is now hiring for an Accounting Specialist. In this role, you will be providing vital support to the accounting team as well as overseas project teams.

This position is based in Burlington, Vermont.

What you'll be doing:

*Preparing document templates for newly-awarded projects *Review and process monthly field accounts utilizing internal reporting systems, Excel and QuickBooks Perform monthly project reconciliations (site, bank, petty cash, advances, and miscellaneous other) *Work with the field staff in ensuring the implementation of corporate procedures and standard accounting practices on projects; *Payroll support; *Serve as backup for Accounts Payable and expenses.

Our desired qualifications:

*Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance *1-2 years of work experience in an office environment required; *Ability to work under tight deadlines and to cooperate effectively in a team environment.

*Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.

*Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

*High level of reliability and follow-through.

*Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

*Ability to legally work in the US without employer sponsorship.
