Responsibilities

The American Heart Assocaition has an excellent opportunity for an Account Services Manager - Real World Evidence based out of our National Center Office! This position can be remote/home based.

Supports Real World Evidence and Precision Medicine Platform (PMP) sales cycle management. Provides support of customer-facing activities of the Precision Medicine Platform (PMP). Responsible for planning and facilitating processes for PMP client-facing operations related to post-sales functions, ensuring that systems are in place to manage operations. Responsible for ensuring third-party vendor and managed services compliance with contracted infrastructure support, development, and services on behalf of the PMP and its customers. Support revenue and expense tracking.

  • Support Real World Evidence and Precision Medicine Platform (PMP) sales cycle support, including maintaining departmental pipeline, conducting prospect and pre-sales research, presentation development, and liaising with AHA’s Corporate Relations team for lead generation and account management Coordination.
  • Manage Real World Evidence and PMP contracting process in collaboration with AHA legal, business and science teams. Work with team members to manage customer contract negotiations and contract issues when they arise.
  • Support revenue and expense tracking.
  • Execute routine and customized onboarding plans for PMP customers built collaboratively with AHA business and science teams. Manage and support both routine and customized processes, communications and technology implementations to support customer onboarding. Ensure a positive and efficient customer experience that spans the entire client engagement on the PMP to include pre-sales support activities, contract signature, onboarding of PMP workspaces, ongoing support and maintenance, and education. Serves as a communication liaison between internal and external customers and infrastructure services providers on necessary technologies to support customer requirements.
  • Manage to the client support plan for PMP users, facilitating handoffs between AHA science and business teams to the managed services provider. Manage and refine systems and processes to support customer billing and reporting.
  • Support and manage implementation of Security certifications (i.e. FEDRAMP) in collaboration with the managed services provider. Assist with support of third-party audits required to maintain security certifications.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Two (2) – Five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Experience developing and executing general business or sales operations infrastructure for customer management, product management, market and communications strategy
  • Experience in establishing operational procedures, reporting, analytics and financial planning
  • Experience managing technology-based product delivery in Medical Research, hospital, or related industry.
  • Ability to develop and implement tactical plans
  • Ability to create flexible systems and communications to respond to changing customer needs and requirements
  • Excellent written and Oral Communication skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
Preferred Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of Bioinformatics or related meta data platforms and database search engines
  • Ability to travel up to 5% local and overnight stay
