Job Posting Organization: The Nabni Building for Peace (B4P) Facility is a grant-making initiative focused on supporting peacebuilding and locally led reconstruction processes in conflict-impacted communities across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Established to work exclusively with local non-governmental organizations, Nabni operates under three main pillars: financing/grant making, technical assistance and capacity development, and knowledge exchange and learning. The overarching aim of Nabni is to strengthen social cohesion and promote peace by supporting infrastructure rehabilitation, restoration of essential services, livelihood opportunities, and local governance. Job Overview: The Grant and Reporting Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting effective donor grant management, particularly with KfW and potential future donors. This position focuses on facilitating high-quality reporting from partners and grantees to Nabni. The coordinator oversees partner grants throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance and providing technical support for partner reporting. Key functions include preparing and consolidating donor reports, coordinating the preparation of new concept notes or proposals, maintaining grant documentation and tracking systems, and contributing to learning and process improvements. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Grant and Reporting Coordinator include:
Supporting Nabni’s management of donor grants, including KfW and potential future donors.
Leading the preparation, consolidation, and submission of high-quality donor reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
Acting as the focal point for the development of new concept notes or proposals to donors.
Ensuring proper grant documentation, filing, and archiving in line with audit and donor requirements.
Supporting design" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">program design processes for the Facility and partners, including proposal development and budget review.
Tracking the implementation of grants throughout the lifecycle, supporting contracting, and ensuring timely and compliant delivery of all grant milestones.
Maintaining dashboards and supporting the implementation of partner performance systems and processes.
Monitoring budgets and conducting burn-rate analysis, flagging risks and compliance concerns.
Ensuring partner/grantee compliance with grant obligations. 1
Liaising with FMU team members to support high-quality partner reporting. 1
Providing technical guidance and capacity building to partners on donor rules and reporting processes. 1
Contributing to compliance and risk management related to partnerships and reporting. 1
Identifying potential compliance risks and proposing risk management options. 1
Traveling within the countries of operation: Iraq, Syria, and Yemen. 1

Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the Grant and Reporting Coordinator position include:
A relevant university degree in social sciences, statistics, research, international development, economics, or related fields.
A minimum of 3 years of grant management or monitoring and evaluation experience in an international organization, preferably in a humanitarian or development context.
Prior experience with KfW-funded projects and knowledge of KfW requirements is advantageous.
Mandatory experience in developing or managing partnerships with local and national non-governmental/civil society organizations.
Strong analytic and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with analytical or presentation software such as Power BI.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong coordination, diplomacy, and facilitation skills.
Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a relevant university degree in fields such as social sciences, statistics, research, international development, economics, or other related areas. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of grant management and reporting in the context of peacebuilding and development.
Experience: The position requires at least 3 years of relevant experience in grant management or monitoring and evaluation within an international organization. Experience in a humanitarian or development context is preferred, along with prior involvement in KfW-funded projects or similar initiatives. Candidates should also have a proven track record of developing and managing partnerships with local and national non-governmental organizations.
Languages: Fluency in both English and Arabic, both written and verbal, is mandatory for this position. This bilingual requirement is crucial for effective communication with local partners and stakeholders in the MENA region. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not mandatory.
Additional Notes: The position is based in Amman, Jordan, and offers a fixed-term contract for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availability. The role may require travel up to 30% within the MENA region, particularly to Iraq, Syria, and Yemen. The salary and benefits are classified under Grade 7 according to NRC’s Jordan salary scale and terms and conditions.
