Job Overview:

Interns will engage in various activities that contribute to the organization's objectives, including training, knowledge sharing, and multi-stakeholder dialogue. The internship is unpaid and requires a full-time commitment, with a minimum duration of two months and a maximum of six months. Interns will work under the supervision of a staff member and are expected to contribute to the development and implementation of projects that enhance the organization's outreach and effectiveness. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain practical experience in a dynamic international environment while contributing to meaningful development initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the APCICT's objectives. These duties include drafting and editing content for public information materials, such as social media posts, and proposing new projects for the website and social media platforms to reach a wider audience. Interns will assist in improving the functionality of the website and e-learning page, checking for broken links or design inconsistencies. They will also support the development of PHP web pages linked with databases and assist in data management tasks, such as downloading database values in document formats like Excel spreadsheets. Additionally, interns will conduct research as directed by their supervisor, collecting and analyzing statistical data and other information from diverse sources. They will create and design reports using dashboards and data visualization tools, support the production of e-learning courses by reviewing multimedia content, and provide administrative and substantive support for meetings and conferences, including the preparation of background documents and handling logistics.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent); or (c) have graduated with a university degree (as defined above) and must commence the internship within one year of graduation. While professional work experience is not required for participation in the program, a keen interest in project implementation and capacity building is considered an advantage. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and contribute to the organization's mission.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this internship includes either being currently enrolled in or having completed a graduate program or being in the final year of a bachelor's degree program. Candidates who have recently graduated with a university degree are also eligible, provided they can start the internship within one year of graduation. This educational requirement ensures that interns possess a foundational understanding of the relevant fields and are equipped to contribute effectively to the organization's projects.

Experience:
No prior professional work experience is required for this internship position.
