The intern will be involved in various tasks that support the project's objectives, including research, analysis, and the preparation of information for different target groups and events. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to the development of sustainable livestock practices.
Duties and Responsibilities: As an intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Global Project in the following areas: conducting research, analyses, and professional assessments related to the project themes; independently preparing information for various target groups and events; assisting in the development of conceptual ideas related to the project themes and providing support in partner consultations; helping to plan, execute, and follow up on professional events and training sessions; contributing to the creation of publications and informational materials; supporting the daily operations of the Global Project through organizational and technical assistance, including the preparation of public relations materials and project progress reports; and documenting meetings by creating minutes.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should be enrolled in their studies from the 5th semester onwards in fields such as agricultural sciences, environmental sciences, social sciences, or other relevant disciplines. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, preferably in two languages (German and English). Educational Background: The position requires candidates to be currently enrolled in a university program, specifically from the 5th semester onwards, in relevant fields such as agricultural sciences, environmental sciences, social sciences, or similar areas. This educational background is essential to ensure that the intern has the necessary theoretical knowledge and understanding of the topics related to sustainable livestock systems and development cooperation.
Experience: While specific prior experience is not mandatory, any relevant internships or experiences, particularly in the Global South or in international development contexts, will be beneficial. Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to learn and engage with the complexities of sustainable agriculture and livestock systems.
Languages: Proficiency in German and English is mandatory, with good communication skills in both languages being essential for the role. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not required.
