Job Overview: The IT Coordinator for the platform of the German Sustainability Code (DNK) will play a crucial role in managing the IT infrastructure that supports the DNK, a reporting standard for sustainability reporting that is available for free to all companies and organizations, regardless of size or industry. The position involves overseeing the development and ongoing operation of the DNK platform, which is essential for helping small and medium-sized enterprises comply with legal requirements related to sustainability reporting. The coordinator will work closely with external service providers and stakeholders to ensure that the platform meets evolving requirements, particularly in alignment with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This role requires a strong focus on project management, risk assessment, and the integration of new IT solutions to enhance the platform's capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities: The primary duties and responsibilities of the IT Coordinator include:
Building, implementing, and operating the IT infrastructure of the DNK platform, with a strong emphasis on project management and coordination with service providers.
Collaborating with DNK stakeholders to define and refine new requirements for the platform.
Assessing risks related to security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">information security and data protection, and developing appropriate measures for the DNK IT infrastructure.
Coordinating release cycles for the integration of new requirements into the IT infrastructure.
Supporting, complementing, and further developing the IT strategy of the DNK.
Taking technical responsibility in coordination with IT service providers for solutions within the DNK Cloud infrastructure, including server and system management.
Monitoring access, budget, and cost management, as well as overseeing testing, backup, and recovery plans of service providers.
Evaluating errors, coordinating troubleshooting, and providing support regarding the IT infrastructure.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for this position include:
Several years of professional experience in IT project management, preferably in an agile environment.
Advanced knowledge of IT solutions, architectures, and digitalization processes.
Strong conceptual skills and consulting competencies.
Fluent German language skills are mandatory, with negotiation-level proficiency required.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a similar qualification obtained through vocational training. This educational background is essential to ensure that the candidate has the necessary technical knowledge and skills to effectively manage the IT infrastructure of the DNK platform.
Experience: Candidates should have several years of professional experience in IT project management, ideally within an agile framework. This experience is crucial for understanding the dynamics of project execution and the ability to adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Languages: Fluent German is mandatory for this position, as it is essential for communication with stakeholders and service providers. Proficiency in English is also desirable, as it may facilitate communication in technical scenarios and with international partners.
Additional Notes: The position is available for full-time or part-time employment, and candidates should be willing to undertake regular business travel.
