Job Overview: The Associate ERP Officer (Human Resources and Payroll) plays a crucial role within the AIPS Management Section (AMS) of the Division of Information Technology at the IAEA. This position involves providing technical and functional support for the Agency's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, specifically focusing on human resources and payroll functionalities. The officer will be responsible for applying their expertise in Oracle and Taleo modules to assist in the delivery of IT services that support the Agency's operations. This includes advising on best practices, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that the ERP system meets the needs of the organization. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR and payroll processes, contributing to the overall mission of the IAEA.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Associate ERP Officer will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: providing assistance to end users in Oracle Human Resources, Payroll, and Taleo applications; assessing and resolving incidents and application service requests; participating in the implementation of change requests and projects based on PRINCE II methodology; maintaining the configuration of live ERP modules related to Human Resources and Payroll; conducting testing to validate new features; documenting functional requirements and creating training materials; and contributing to business process improvement initiatives. The officer will also serve as a level 2 and 3 support agent, addressing complex issues that require advanced technical knowledge and providing guidance on the AIPS application.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in human resources, business administration, management, or information technology. A minimum of two years of experience in implementing and providing post-go-live support for enterprise-scale solutions based on Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Payroll, and Taleo is required. Additionally, candidates should have a strong understanding of Oracle Human Capital Management, Payroll processes, and Taleo Recruitment and Onboarding processes. Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written, are essential, and knowledge of other official IAEA languages such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish is considered an asset.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as human resources, business administration, management, or information technology. Equivalent experience may also be considered. The role demands a solid understanding of information technology principles, particularly in relation to Oracle systems and human resources management.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience, specifically in the implementation and support of enterprise-scale solutions, particularly those based on Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Payroll, and Taleo. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of working with these systems and possess the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues effectively. Experience in a similar international organization or environment is advantageous.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly those recognized by the IAEA such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish, is highly desirable and will enhance a candidate's profile.
Additional Notes: The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package, including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $55,163, subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance. Additional benefits include a variable post adjustment, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses, six weeks of annual leave, home leave travel, a pension plan, and health insurance.
