Job Overview:
As the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Deputy Director of Digital Fundraising, you will be a key player in enhancing the IRC's global digital fundraising initiatives. This role involves providing expert consultation and hands-on support in various areas such as paid media, creative development, analytics, and process improvement. You will serve as a strategic adviser to country teams, guiding them in campaign planning, platform strategy, and performance measurement. Your responsibilities will include managing relationships with digital agencies and platform partners, refining creative processes, championing digital ad testing and optimization, and ensuring compliance with data privacy standards. Through thorough analysis and collaboration across functions, you will help improve attribution models, enhance reporting infrastructure, and drive continuous improvement in digital programs. Additionally, you will lead special projects aimed at streamlining operations and fostering knowledge sharing across the global digital network.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Digital Media Consultation & Support—40%: Act as a subject-matter expert on paid platforms for digital country teams, guiding them in translating digital strategy into actionable campaign recommendations. Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure operational readiness and support digital teams by troubleshooting issues and resolving blockers. 2) Creative Support for Digital Campaigns—25%: Manage digital creative production workflows, ensuring collaboration across teams and compliance with platform requirements. Implement creative testing programs and translate results into best practices. 3) Digital Analytics & Optimisation—25%: Lead performance reviews to identify optimization opportunities, refine attribution models, and maintain core reporting for digital media. Partner with leads to convert insights into prioritized tests and streamline processes. 4) Special Projects & Process Improvement—10%: Oversee special projects that enhance digital fundraising processes and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess considerable professional experience in deploying targeted digital media strategies, with a proven track record of leading successful digital advertising campaigns across various platforms. They should have extensive experience in developing digital media spending strategies, adapting financial strategies based on performance, and maintaining a comprehensive monitoring framework for digital acquisition activities. Proficiency in using complex online tools for marketing" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">digital marketing and data analysis is essential, along with a consistent record of driving email marketing strategies and leading cross-functional teams. Candidates should also demonstrate exceptional IT skills, including proficiency in digital marketing tools and excellent numeracy skills for data analysis.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in digital marketing or fundraising are preferred. Candidates should have a strong understanding of digital marketing principles and practices, as well as experience in campaign development and brand identity management.

Experience:
Candidates should have significant experience in digital fundraising and marketing, with a focus on deploying targeted strategies to attract donors. They should have a history of leading successful digital advertising campaigns and developing effective digital media spending strategies. Experience in managing cross-functional teams and fostering a culture of innovation is also essential.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory. While no additional languages are required, proficiency in German, Swedish, Korean, or Spanish would be advantageous.

Additional Notes:
This position offers a salary range of GBP 61,000 to GBP 72,000 annually. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
