Job Overview:
The Analyst position is crucial in supporting the Associate Director in the deployment of Technical Cooperation (TC) assignments and policy work related to digital transformation and cybersecurity. The role is designed to assist the Digital Hub in deploying digital products effectively.   • The Analyst will play a pivotal role in implementing the Digital Approach, which focuses on ensuring equal access to digital technology, providing financial and technical support, and establishing robust governance practices. This position will also involve managing donor-funded projects, tracking deliverables, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of digital initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Analyst will be responsible for several key areas:
  • Operational Delivery: Screening the EBRD pipeline for digital opportunities and cybersecurity risks, engaging with operational leaders and stakeholders to promote the use of Digital Hub's tools, and supporting the deployment of TCs for digital transformation and cybersecurity activities.
  • Impact and Communication: Liaising with Donor Partnerships and Procurement to balance donor fund allocations with assignment deployments, showcasing the work of the Digital Transformation Support Programme (DTSP) and Cybersecurity Resilience Programme (CRP), and communicating the impact of digital investments through various media channels.
  • Organisational Development: Advising the Associate Director on future project pipelines, supporting the Hub's organizational aspects, and staying updated on digital developments to suggest new products and services.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline related to the Digital Hub's activities. Fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills is mandatory. Knowledge of an additional language such as Russian, German, French, or Arabic is desirable. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the digital landscape and processes, experience in digital and/or cybersecurity policy within a development context, and a proactive, innovative mindset. Excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Familiarity with the EBRD's policies and systems is advantageous.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to digital transformation, cybersecurity, or a related area. Relevant training or certifications in digital technologies or cybersecurity would also be beneficial.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have a solid understanding of the digital world and processes, with experience in the digital and/or cybersecurity policy field, particularly in a development context. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience working with international organizations or in a banking environment is a plus.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of an additional language such as Russian, German, French, or Arabic is considered a valuable asset for this role.
