Job Overview: The position of National Consultant, Monitoring and EvaluationCoordinator, is integral to the OSCE's initiative aimed at enhancing the economic opportunities for socially vulnerable women in Kazakhstan. The consultant will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating a project designed to improve the handicraft and entrepreneurship skills of 12 selected women. This initiative is not only about skill enhancement but also focuses on improving employability and fostering entrepreneurship. The consultant will work closely with various stakeholders, including trainers and logistical teams, to ensure the successful execution of training programs. The role requires a proactive approach to track participant progress and provide necessary support throughout the project duration, which is set to take place in Almaty from October to November 202
The consultant will also be responsible for preparing comprehensive reports that reflect the project's outcomes and key performance indicators.
Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will undertake a variety of tasks under the supervision of the Senior Economic and Environmental Officer. Key responsibilities include coordinating the planning and execution of the training program, liaising with experts and trainers, ensuring timely delivery of sessions, and tracking participant attendance. The consultant will monitor individual progress on personal initiatives between training modules and provide support as needed. Additionally, the consultant will prepare a final summary of results, which will include a comprehensive report detailing attendance, satisfaction levels, and project outputs. The consultant will also be responsible for maintaining an updated attendance database and ensuring that one-on-one consultations and mentorship are provided throughout the project duration.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in program coordination and reporting is required. The ideal candidate will have expertise in entrepreneurship training, small business planning, marketing, branding, and financial literacy. Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Candidates should have a solid understanding of project budgets, scheduling, and resource management, as well as the ability to maintain accurate records and databases. Basic knowledge of financial management and reporting is necessary, along with experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and data handling.
Educational Background: The educational requirement for this position is a Bachelor's Degree, which is considered a first-level university degree or equivalent. This educational background should ideally be in fields related to business administration, project management, or other relevant areas that equip the candidate with the necessary skills to fulfill the role effectively.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in program coordination and reporting.
