Job Overview:
The position of Fachassistent*in Gleichstellung is centered around promoting gender equality within the organization. This role is crucial for supporting the implementation of a comprehensive company agreement aimed at achieving gender equality between men and women. The assistant will work closely with the Gender Equality Officer in Bonn, contributing to various personnel, organizational, and social measures that address gender equality, work-life balance, and protection against sexual harassment in the workplace. The position is part-time and spans from November 15, 2025, to February 28, 2027, requiring a proactive approach to support the Gender Equality initiatives effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties of the Fachassistent*in Gleichstellung include preparing, accompanying, and following up on events organized by the Gender Equality Officer in Bonn. The assistant will also support research activities, conduct professional evaluations, and prepare content relevant to gender equality. Additionally, the role involves assisting the Gender Equality Officer with administrative, commercial, and management tasks, contributing to information and knowledge management, and coordinating and organizing tasks and appointments effectively.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a completed commercial training and relevant professional experience in gender studies, intersectional equality, diversity, and current feminist discourses. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential, along with strong skills in digital communication platforms. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a willingness and ability to quickly adapt to new topics and work processes, exhibit initiative, teamwork, creativity, and the capacity for constructive and critical questioning. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for this position.

Educational Background:
A completed commercial training is required, and a degree in Gender Studies, Political Science, or Social Sciences is desirable. This educational background will provide the necessary theoretical framework and understanding of the complexities surrounding gender equality and diversity issues.

Experience:
Relevant professional experience in the fields of gender, intersectional equality, and diversity is essential. Candidates should have a proven track record of engaging with current feminist discourses and practical experience in related roles that demonstrate their capability to contribute effectively to the organization's goals.

Languages:
Fluency in German and English is mandatory for this position. Additional language skills are considered advantageous and may enhance the candidate's profile, particularly in a diverse working environment.
