Job Overview: The position involves producing communication materials that highlight UNICEF Guinea-Bissau's efforts and raise awareness about the challenges faced by children in the region. The online volunteers will be tasked with creating 20 designs for reports and visibility materials, including videos and animations for the upcoming Conference of the Parties (COP29). This role requires creativity and adherence to UNICEF's branding guidelines while ensuring that the materials resonate with various audiences, including the general public, donors, and stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities:
Create draft designs/products that align with UNICEF's branding guidelines and consider the target audience.
Develop designs based on specific requirements provided by UNICEF and engage in discussions with the communications team to refine these designs.
Implement feedback from UNICEF to make necessary revisions to the designs.
Finalize the designs according to the agreed specifications, ensuring they adhere to corporate design guidelines.
Collaborate with the Communication Officer and Associate to ensure that the materials produced effectively convey UNICEF's message and objectives.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong design skills, with proficiency in graphic design software and tools. They should have a good understanding of branding and communication strategies, particularly in the context of non-profit organizations. Experience in creating visual content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and print, is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Educational Background: A background in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have relevant coursework or certifications that demonstrate their design capabilities and understanding of communication principles.
