Job Description

  Background of this search: The Human Resources Department (HRD) is responsible for the Administration and development of the human resources at the IDB Group. It also oversees the implementation of the Human Capital Strategy, building and implementing programs and methodologies in direct support of our results-based Business Model, and focusing on the development of the Bank’s talent and technical skills capacity. The team’s mission: The HR Business Partner (HRBP) Group, in the Talent Management Division in HRD, provides direct services to the Departments of the IDB Group, supporting the entire employee lifecycle from sourcing to retirement (e.g. recruitment, hiring, Career Development, performance management, rewards and recognition, compensation, benefit services, and payroll). We are looking for a motivated and team-oriented professional to support the HR Business Partners to strengthen the team’s ability to respond effectively to client’s needs. What you’ll do:
  • Supports the HRBP Group to identify business challenges and provide data-driven solutions through the use of the analytics tools provided by the Bank’s Analytics & Decision Support Unit.

  • Tracks recruitment efforts and provides assistance and/or information on related matters to track effectiveness and propose necessary adjustments to ensure results.

  • Assists with gathering information and preparing high-quality Analysis, pertinent reports, and presentations for the Talent Management Initiatives to help drive HR decisions.

  • Summarize written findings and publish results, including graphs, charts, and tables through reports and/or presentations for internal and external clients.

  • Serves on project teams and executes sets of tasks for the completion of projects.

  • Performs a range of tasks related to the Human Resource support functions, including quality control of documentation, and drafting and compiling a variety of HR-related documents.

  • Attends meetings, drafts minutes, and ensures timely clearance and distribution.

  • Run and analyze, reports out of various HR systems.

  • Investigate data errors, construct queries, audit data and identify risks to recommend mitigation plan.

What you’ll need:
  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.

  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Finance, or other relevant fields.

  • Experience: A minimum of two (2) years, three (3) preferable of relevant professional experience in similar functions, working with HR metrics, Data Analytics, systems, and processes. Experience in international organizations is a plus.

    • Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, and a high degree of self-motivation, initiative, and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to deliver results exceeding expectations. Ability to maintain confidentiality.


    • Systems: Deep knowledge and understanding of HR systems (SAP, Taleo, HRIS). Proficiency in MS Office Tools, specifically in Excel, PowerPoint.


  • Languages: Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish required; knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
