Sponsorship Manager – Sponsorship Unit The Role Responsible for supervising all aspects of Sponsorship work in the Country Office. This post ensures that the operational and programmatic key performance indicators are met, and that policies and procedures are understood and followed. QUALIFICATIONS * University degree in Social Sciences or communications * Minimum of three (3) years of experience in development work with proven management skills in sponsorship management or related field * Good understanding of Philippine development issues and how various social, economic and political issues affect children * Strong analytical and conceptualization skills and ability to think strategically * Strong respect for confidentiality * Ability to work on own initiative to build on and develop the job, combined with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and motivate staff * Ability to seek, validate and share information * Strong interpersonal skills including effective communication, influencing, negotiation and coaching; * Highly developed writing skills; able to effectively write concise proposals, reports, briefing papers, etc. * Strong facilitation and presentation skills * Highly organized, with good attention to detail and developed ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines and organize work * Can work well in highly stressful situations; able to manage multiple competing tasks, prioritize deliverables and meet reasonable deadlines * Ability to keep track of the quality and status of own or others’ work * Proven experience of using MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint) and desktop publishing software * Willing to travel to frequently, sometimes to remote areas Desirable * Previous experience in grants and sub-award management; * Experience working on child protection and children’s rights; * Strong facilitation skills Contract length: Fixed Term position until December 31, 2020 based in National Capital Region The Organisation We employ approximately 25,000 people across the globe and work on the ground in over 100 countries to help children affected by crises, or those that need better healthcare, education and child protection.
