Responsibilities The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Quality Programs Manager – Mission Lifeline position in our Quality, Outcomes, Research and Analyticsdepartment! This position can be remote/home based within the state of Montana. The Quality Programs Manager will be responsible for the Coordination, development, and implementation of a 3-year grant funded Mission: Lifeline Stroke grant program in the state of North Dakota. Responsibilities will include development of key partner and customer relationships from key sectors across.
  • Communicate current evidence-based guidelines and identify opportunities to distribute AHA guidelines and treatment recommendations related to stroke to hospitals and EMS providers

  • Work with stakeholder and staff partners through ongoing face-to-face and remote meetings and reporting to ensure grant deliverables are being met according to timeline

  • Promote participation in regional meetings with existing GWTG-S hospitals to strengthen state and regional stroke systems of care AHA activities & goals

  • Responsible for development and execution of an annual conference, identification of conference collaboration opportunities and/or webinars related to stroke in MT

  • Coordinate efforts among hospital/EMS consultants and Outreach Coordinator as well as other staff in the areas of Policy, Communications, Health IT, Evaluation, Research, Publication, Training and Quality improvement

  • Facilitate task force meetings in coordination with volunteers and staff partners on a schedule that aligns with the Program Implementation schedule

  • In coordination with staff partners and volunteers, establish sustainability plan for all components of grant

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience

  • experience in healthcare or in a Public Health-related organization: clinical neurology, quality improvement, program development

  • Knowledge of statewide hospital and/or EMS processes, system coordination and political culture

  • Strong verbal, public speaking, meeting facilitation and written communications skills

  • Ability to travel up to 50% locally and overnight (once travel restrictions have been lifted)
