Job Description

IT Project Management PEC Consultant Background: We are looking for a consultant to join the ITE/IPF team to coordinate the final implementation of the Balance Sheet Stress Testing and Dashboard Reporting (STAR) project and validate the data to the Office of Risk Management. The Team’s mission: We are responsible for implementing IT projects that enable our internal clients to achieve business outcomes and results. Deliverables and what you will do:
  1. Coordinate the STAR project implementation schedule and ensure timely execution for the day to day tasks related to IT, coordinating the IDB teams involved

  2. Support RMG team on data validation

  3. Update tasks status and report back to clients within ITE and RMG

  4. Deliver and support meetings with business clients and stakeholders from IDB departments ensuring that the business requirements are being captured and provide the required follow-up

  5. Provides general client support during the project until go-live

Payments timeline of deliverables:
  • 20% for deliverable 1, estimated on November 19, 2020

  • 20% for deliverable 2, estimated on December 18, 2020

  • 20% for deliverable 3, estimated on January 15, 2021

  • 20% for deliverable 4, estimated on February 19, 2021

  • 20% for deliverable 5, estimated on March 18, 2021

What you will need: Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents. Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group. Education: You hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering Management or related fields. Experience: at least 3+ years of extensive experience in project Coordination, planning and implementation. Solid skills in SQL queries, Microsoft Excel and Access, including macros and VBA (vbscript). Languages: You are proficient in English and Spanish Core and Technical Competencies:
  • Solid skills in SQL queries (SQL Server and Oracle experience)

  • Full proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and Access, including macros and VBA (vbscript)

  • Solid analytical skills with a strong orientation towards detail, and an emphasis in data

  • Knowledge of Tableau (desired)

  • Knowledge of Office 365 tools

  • Teamwork and strong oral and written communications skills and service-oriented attitude

  • Proactivity, agility, and results-driven demeanor

  • Strong problem-solving ability and time management skills with the ability to coordinate activities with multiple stakeholders simultaneously

  • Substantial experience in cross cultural and disciplinary teams or technical experts
