In this newly created role reporting to our Internal Communications Manager, you will support our new intranet platform by creating and posting content, coordinating and curating content across teams, and supporting implementation of WRI’s overall internal communications strategy. You will provide creative and Technical Support for a SharePoint-based platform and requires familiarity with content Management Systems to post and upkeep content. You will be at the center of ensuring our new intranet realizes our vision of facilitating collaboration, communicating strategic information and increasing efficiency to increase WRI’s global impact. A core measure of success will be the degree to which the new intranet becomes staff’s go-to daily source for Internal Communication and news across the WRI global network. You must be an organized, dynamic self-starter with excellent communication skills, who demonstrates cultural sensitivity and understanding when coordinating across international offices. Job Responsibilities Manage Content for WRI’s Intranet Platform (75%)
  • Manages central content for WRI’s new intranet (Banyan), including drafting, curating, posting and updating new content

  • Coordinates and supports Banyan content owners across the organization in the maintenance and upkeep of their team sites

  • Provides training to new Banyan content owners; creates resources for staff new to the platform

  • Supports development and implementation of overall Banyan content strategy and campaigns to drive platform adoption

  • Works with Banyan team and IT to implement system changes to enhance user experience

Support Delivery of Internal Communications (25%)
  • Supports the planning of all-staff meetings

  • Supports production of staff newsletters and active promotion of content on Banyan, MS Teams and other channels

  • Manages images and other digital assets for internal communications

  • Supports internal communications initiatives by key teams, including the Executive Office, Human Resources and Operations

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent writing, editing and oral communication skills

  • Experience in internal or corporate communications and professional experience on an organization’s intranet

  • Experience with Content Management systems (CMS)

  • Experience with SharePoint / Office 365 systems preferred

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and efficient

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others and independently with the highest standards of integrity

  • Adaptability to rapidly changing priorities and ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines and competing demands

  • US work authorization is required for this opportunity
