  STAFF VACANCY 200507 DIVISION: International Military Staff NATO HQ C3 Staff Information Services Branch TITLE: Information & Data Exchange Engineer GRADE: A-2 Please note that the competition for this post is provisionally scheduled for late October/early November 2020 Post Context. The NHQC3S is an integrated staff composed of members of the International Military Staff (IMS) and the International Staff (IS) responsible for Analysis, advice, and actionable recommendations to Allies for the delivery of C3 capabilities and the provision of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services. Led by the Director NHQC3S, the Staff supports the different NATO committees and in particular, the Military Committee, the C3 Board and the Cyber Defence Committee. It functionally operates under the co-ordinated executive management authority of the Director General of the IMS (DGIMS) and the Assistant Secretary General (ASG) for Defence Investment (DI). The Information Services Branch (ISB) leads the development, application and maintenance of NATO’s policies, standards and directives for information & Data Management and sharing in support of the Alliance’s C3 processes by providing staff expertise in military ICT. We are looking for an ICT professional and military-business Analyst in ISB who has a lead role in producing data & Information Exchange solutions contributing to interoperability. Responsible to the Branch Head to engage with diverse military communities of interest (Logistics, medical, intelligence, etc); to analyse their Information Exchange Requirements (IERs); and to select, develop and maintain data & information exchange solutions underpinning the consultation and command and control functions of the Alliance. As such, the selected candidate contributes to NATO’s data agenda and ambitions.
