The Secretariat of the European Parliament intends to establish a database of candidates (contract staff members in function group IV) in the field of innovation and Change Management in its Directorate-General for Infrastructure and Logistics (DG INLO). The database will serve as a pool of candidates for recruitment in Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg. Job description DG INLO contributes to the sound management of infrastructure (buildings and their equipment) and logistics (catering, mail, removals, furniture, transport, etc.) in and between the European Parliament’s places of work. Through their efforts, the staff of DG INLO provide essential support for the European Parliament's political work. In the course of a rotation programme lasting between 12 and 18 months, the persons selected will be assigned to various services in DG INLO for periods of six months. The rotation programme will give the persons selected the opportunity to perform tasks which involve the exercise of responsibility in different operational and administrative areas of the DG and thus actively contribute to its organisational development. The programme includes internal and external training tailored to each person’s academic background and professional development. The content of the training will be discussed with a mentor who will closely follow the career path of each person selected and give feedback on the tasks to be achieved. The person responsible for innovation and change management will be required to: - Draft internal studies on the proper functioning of the entity’s management and control system - Develop multidisciplinary expertise in the DGs’ areas of activity - Study, process and oversee specific files and thus facilitate decision-making at management level - Propose measures to optimise processes and resource allocation in the DGs’ areas of operational responsibility - Recommend developments in the administrative field (propose objectives, means, methods and monitoring processes) - Cooperate with other operational departments in the Secretariat in the context of the Strategic Execution Framework and other projects - Design, develop, implement and monitor the objectives and action programmes set and drawn up by management in the area of human and budgetary resources - Participate in the development of the innovation network, taking a proactive, multidisciplinary approach - Assess the impact of change Eligibility a.
