In 2020, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation announced the creation of a new Gender Equality

Development Goals (SDGs). Under the leadership of the inaugural President, Anita Zaidi, the Gender Equality Division signals our intent to fully maximize our voice and our co-chairs’ commitment to accelerate impact on gender equality.
Reporting to the President of the Gender Equality Division, the Director

for low-income populations, social Entrepreneurship
, digital technology, or a combination of the above. We are seeking someone who has delivered real impact in the lives of people around the world and has the capacity to enable an ecosystem committed to gender equality at the foundation.
The successful candidate will have a track record of effective leadership and management, including responsibility for diverse and dispersed teams in a matrixed and/or rapidly changing environment. We will prioritize candidates who can demonstrate a strategic and analytical approach and have a vision for what can be accomplished leveraging the platform of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
