Campaign Assistant - 150th Anniversary of the British Red Cross Location: London Hours per week: 35 Contract type: 9 months' fixed term contract Salary: circa GBP 20,000 pro rata per annum (inc London weighting) In 2020 the British Red Cross is celebrating its 150th anniversary which has led to the creation of a new campaign team that will deliver a high profile, integrated, multi-channel campaign that reaches new and targeted audiences and drives engagement with our brand. As Campaign Assistant, you will work closely with the Campaign Manager to support the Project Management, planning, implementation and reporting around this campaign. What we are looking for IT literate and with preferably a knowledge of communications and/or Fundraising, you will be an organised individual with the ability to plan, manage and monitor your workload with outstanding prioritisation skills and the proven ability to plan and manage a variety of projects and activities to tight deadlines. With the ability to develop good internal working relationships, you will have effective verbal and written communications skills, including literacy and proof reading. You should also have experience of providing administrative support to a team or individual as well as experience of managing meetings; including scheduling and minute taking. The role will best suit those who have previously worked in a busy and dynamic office environment with multiple concurrent workstreams and have experience of analysing data and producing reports on a regular basis. Meet the team The role of Campaign Assistant is part of the Communications and Advocacy directorate which tells the stories about who we are, what we do, what we believe, and the difference we make to people's lives - so that both externally and internally people act, behave, or make decisions in a way that results in a positive change for people in crisis. Closing date for applications is 23.59 on the 16th of January 2020 with first stage interviews scheduled to take place week commencing the 20th of January.
