What does an External Relations/Communications Chief do?
An External Relations/Communications Chief builds and nurtures corporate donor relations, leads the donor resource mobilization and conducts effective communications and advocacy efforts to highlight the value of volunteerism. He/she leads and manages corporate strategic partnership relations s, intergovernmental, non-governmental organizations, financial institutions, civil society, academia, media, and the private sector to promote corporate mandate and initiatives, raise awareness and stimulate action to advance corporate global agenda and resource mobilization. With a view to promoting and advancing public understanding, he/she leads the development of advocacy, information and promotional materials, publications, websites, social media networks and other innovative means of communication.
