Job Overview:
The Senior HR Specialist in Talent Management will play a crucial role within the WBG Talent Management and Development Department, which is a core function of Human Resources. This department is responsible for shaping the talent strategy of the World Bank Group, focusing on building workforce and leadership capabilities essential for fulfilling its mission. The incumbent will lead enterprise-wide talent processes aimed at maximizing the contributions of staff and leaders. This includes designing, delivering, and continuously improving talent processes such as talent reviews, succession planning, and promotions. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure that talent solutions are relevant, scalable, and adaptable to the needs of a diverse international workforce. The position demands in-depth expertise in talent management and career development, alongside strong client relationship management and teamwork skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior HR Specialist will be responsible for leading the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of talent practices, ensuring they align with current and future business needs. Key responsibilities include serving as a thought partner to Talent Management leaders and senior stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations on talent priorities, and translating talent strategy into practical frameworks and tools. The incumbent will guide HR Business Partners and people leaders on talent management practices, manage talent programs and cross-functional initiatives, and develop compelling communications and materials to support decision-making. Building strong partnerships across HR and the business is essential to drive alignment and successful execution of talent priorities. The role also involves partnering with HR Technology teams to enhance talent systems and processes, leading change management efforts for talent initiatives, and utilizing data and research to identify opportunities for program improvement. The Senior HR Specialist will define success measures, track outcomes, and leverage stakeholder feedback to enhance program effectiveness and impact.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Senior HR Specialist position should possess a strong background in talent management and development, with proven experience in leading talent processes and initiatives. The role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical skills are essential for utilizing data to inform decision-making and improve talent programs. The ideal candidate should demonstrate sound judgment, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities in complex situations, while also being committed to supporting broader Talent Management and Development priorities.

Educational Background:
