Job Overview:
The Associate Product Owner will play a crucial role in the Corporate Information Technologies Department (CIT) at IFC, which aims to leverage technology to support IFC's strategic priorities and business operations. The position involves collaborating closely with the Product Manager to continuously evolve the Salesforce product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the Bank Group's institutional and IT strategic priorities. The Associate Product Owner will be responsible for translating business and stakeholder needs into a well-prioritized backlog of epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring that the development team has clear, actionable guidance. This role also requires establishing and tracking product success metrics, building strong relationships with business sponsors and stakeholders, and managing trade-offs between scope, time, and resources. The ideal candidate will be adept at supporting Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensuring that the product aligns with Salesforce best practices and enterprise standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Associate Product Owner include:
  • Collaborating with the Product Manager to evolve the Salesforce product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Evaluating Salesforce capabilities to ensure optimal design choices.
  • Translating business and stakeholder needs into a prioritized backlog of epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Serving as the principal point of accountability for product decisions, balancing stakeholder demands, technical feasibility, and resource constraints.
  • Supporting Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospectives.
  • Reviewing and formally accepting completed work against defined acceptance criteria and quality standards.
  • Establishing and tracking product success metrics, using data to inform ongoing prioritization.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with business sponsors, client departments, and senior stakeholders.
  • Managing trade-offs between scope, time, and resources, and communicating impacts transparently to leadership and stakeholders. 1
  • Collaborating with enterprise architecture, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security, UX, and QA functions to ensure the product is secure, scalable, and aligned with WBG technology standards. 1
  • Ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices and enterprise standards.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the Associate Product Owner position include:
  • A Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience, including 5+ years of Salesforce experience specifically in the Financial Services industry.
  • SAFe Product Owner certification.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification is required.
  • Experience in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Experience Cloud is required.
  • Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certification is required.
  • Solid knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including objects, workflows, and integrations.
  • Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs, such as CRM implementation.
  • A demonstrated track record as a Product Owner delivering complex digital products within an Agile environment.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. This educational background is essential to ensure that the candidate has the necessary technical knowledge and skills to effectively manage and develop Salesforce products within the financial services sector.

Experience:
