Job Overview:
The Project Manager will play a crucial role in the day-to-day management, coordination, and supervision of project implementation under the Democratic Governance Portfolio of UNDP Georgia. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure efficient project management, adherence to UNDP rules and regulations, and the successful execution of project activities. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing annual activity and procurement work plans, managing budgets, and providing direction to the project team. This role also involves building and leading a high-performing team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement. The Project Manager will engage with various stakeholders, including civil society organizations, to promote equality, inclusion, and civic participation, while also addressing the needs of vulnerable and underrepresented groups in Georgia. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Manager's duties include overseeing the implementation of project activities in accordance with project documents and UNDP regulations. Key responsibilities involve developing and monitoring annual work plans and budgets, providing guidance to the project team, and ensuring the efficient use of project resources. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in relevant fields such as Law, Political Science, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Gender Studies, International Relations, or Development Studies. Alternatively, a first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree) with additional relevant experience may be considered. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience with a Master's degree or 4 years with a Bachelor's degree, specifically in implementing projects related to equality, inclusion, human rights, and the empowerment of vulnerable groups. Demonstrated experience in developing knowledge products, policy briefs, and engaging with civil society organizations is essential. Candidates should also have experience working with governments, donors, and the United Nations system, showcasing their ability to build partnerships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes an advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in fields such as Law, Political Science, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Gender Studies, International Relations, or Development Studies. A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in these areas, combined with additional relevant experience, may also be considered. Experience:
The Project Manager position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience for candidates with a Master's degree, or 4 years for those with a Bachelor's degree. Fluency in English and Georgian is required for this position.
