The position of Associé.e Administratif.ve is crucial for supporting the implementation of the UNDP's new portfolio titled 'Governance as a Lever for Socio-Economic Development in Tunisia'. This role involves ensuring that administrative and logistical support is provided efficiently and effectively to facilitate the timely execution of activities outlined in the annual work plan. The Associé.e Administratif.ve will be responsible for coordinating various administrative tasks, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with UNDP procedures and standards. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including government institutions, civil society, and the private sector. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the timely and effective implementation of portfolio activities according to the annual work plan. This includes planning and organizing activities, providing logistical support, and monitoring contractor performance.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, site visits, and events related to the portfolio, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made.
  • Prepare contributions for reports and compile relevant documentation, including financial reports as needed.
  • Assist in the administrative management of projects, including recruitment processes, procurement, and financial reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of annual work plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of correspondence and documents related to the portfolio, including contracts and proposals.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building within the national office by organizing training sessions and contributing to knowledge networks.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of a secondary school diploma, with a university degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field being an advantage. A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in administration or program support services is required for candidates with a secondary school diploma, while those with a university degree must have at least 4 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in using office software (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and web-based management systems is essential. Previous experience in the United Nations system is considered an asset, along with relevant experience in project implementation and financial management.

Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is a secondary school diploma. However, candidates with a university degree (Bachelor's) in business administration, public administration, or a related field will be given due consideration. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of administrative functions and supporting programmatic activities effectively.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in administration or program support for candidates with a secondary school diploma. For those with a university degree, a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required. Experience in project management, coordination, and financial administration is highly desirable, as is familiarity with UNDP procedures and standards.

Languages:
