Job Overview:
The position involves providing specialized technical expertise to the EdTech Hub in Dakar. The main objective is to design, contextualize, test, and document a support system for startups that encompasses pre-incubation, incubation, pre-acceleration, and collaboration with acceleration partners. The role requires the development of methodologies, curricula, management tools for cohorts, mentoring systems, dashboards, and monitoring mechanisms that align with the Timbuktoo methodology, the VIRAL pathway, and the IMM framework. This position is crucial for enhancing the startup ecosystem in Dakar and ensuring that the support provided is effective and tailored to the local context.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and contextualize methodologies and curricula for the startup support system.
• Design and implement procedures and management tools for cohort management.
• Create mentoring frameworks and dashboards for monitoring progress.
• Collaborate with local and international partners to ensure alignment with best practices in startup incubation and acceleration.
• Conduct testing and documentation of the support system to ensure its effectiveness.
• Provide ongoing technical support and expertise to the EdTech Hub team.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for stakeholders involved in the startup ecosystem.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of the implemented methodologies and tools.
• Prepare reports and documentation on the progress and outcomes of the project. 1
• Engage with the community of startups to gather feedback and improve the support system.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in startup incubation and acceleration processes.
• Strong understanding of the EdTech landscape and its challenges.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in developing training materials and conducting workshops.
• Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks.

Educational Background:
A minimum of a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Technology, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in project management or entrepreneurship development would be an asset.

Experience:
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of startup support, incubation, or acceleration. Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is preferred. Demonstrated experience in developing educational programs or curricula is highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication in Senegal. Proficiency in English is an asset, as it may be required for collaboration with international partners.
