Job Overview:
The Implementation Assistant is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to ensure quality, effective, and efficient management of implementation partnerships in the country office, in accordance with relevant operational policies and procedures and the integration of risk-based implementation partnership management at the Country Office level. The role involves supporting the management of implementation partnerships, ensuring quality assurance, conducting analysis, monitoring, and reporting, as well as fostering innovation, knowledge management, and capacity strengthening. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for children.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the management of implementation partnerships by coordinating with partners and ensuring compliance with agreements.
• Ensure quality assurance by monitoring the implementation of programs and providing feedback for improvement.
• Conduct analysis and prepare reports on the performance of partnerships and programs.
• Foster innovation and knowledge management by sharing best practices and lessons learned.
• Strengthen the capacity of implementing partners through training and support.
• Monitor cash transfers and ensure proper management and oversight.
• Identify and manage business risks related to partnership management and operations.
• Collaborate with government entities and other stakeholders to promote effective coordination and compliance with agreements.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include a completed secondary education, complemented by formal training and specific training in one of the following fields: development studies, international development, business administration, financial management, economics, auditing, project/program management, or another relevant technical field. A university degree from a recognized academic institution in a relevant field may substitute for three years of related work experience. A master's degree may substitute for an additional two years of experience. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage partnerships with the government, promote effective coordination, and ensure compliance with agreements. Experience in developing and implementing the Annual Assurance Plan is essential. Candidates should also have the ability to track cash transfers and ensure proper management and monitoring.

Educational Background:
Candidates must have completed secondary education, with additional formal training in relevant fields such as development studies, international development, business administration, financial management, economics, auditing, project/program management, or other pertinent technical areas. A university degree can replace three years of relevant work experience, while a master's degree can replace an additional two years of experience.

Experience:
A minimum of five years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: program development/management, financial planning and management, or another related area. Candidates should have experience in managing partnerships, developing annual assurance plans, and strengthening the capacities of implementing partners.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language (French or English) is desirable. Experience working in a developing country is considered an advantage, as is relevant experience in a United Nations agency or organization.
