Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities for the G5 level include drafting correspondence and documents, composing and finalizing administrative correspondence, taking notes at meetings, arranging duty travel, and acting as an informal interpreter/translator when required. The incumbent will also monitor project activities and financial expenditures, assist in organizing meetings, maintain filing systems, respond to inquiries, and provide guidance to staff on office practices. For the G6 level, responsibilities expand to providing administrative support for project planning, managing HR-related issues, tracking procurement actions, and ensuring the smooth running of administrative functions. The G6 level also involves preparing financial reports, reviewing budget plans, and monitoring project implementation, ensuring compliance with WHO standards and procedures.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess essential qualifications that include a completion of secondary school or equivalent. Desirable qualifications include relevant higher education from an accredited institution. For the G5 level, at least 5 years of relevant experience is required, while the G6 level requires at least 8 years of relevant experience.
