Job Overview:
The position of UNV Video Editing and Creative Enhancement Support is crucial for the UN SDG Action Campaign as it directly contributes to the campaign's objective of amplifying inspiring stories of changemakers who are advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The volunteer will be tasked with enhancing the visual quality and storytelling of videos produced to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the UN Trust Fund. This role involves working with raw footage and visuals to create compelling digital content that will increase audience engagement and strengthen digital outreach. The videos produced will not only celebrate the impact of the UN Trust Fund but also mobilize global action towards achieving a more equal, sustainable, and just world.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess strong video editing skills, familiarity with video editing software, and a good understanding of storytelling techniques. They should also have a keen eye for detail and a passion for social justice and the Sustainable Development Goals. Experience in working with non-profit organizations or in a similar context would be beneficial. Additionally, the candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Educational Background:
A background in film production, media studies, communications, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have formal training or equivalent experience in video editing and production techniques. Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience with software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing tools is highly desirable.
Experience:
Candidates should have prior experience in video editing, preferably in a professional or volunteer capacity. Experience working on projects related to social issues, advocacy, or non-profit initiatives will be considered an asset. The role may require a portfolio of previous work to demonstrate editing skills and creativity.
Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, as all communications and editing tasks will be conducted in English. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly those relevant to the regions represented by the changemakers featured in the videos, would be considered a plus.

- Enhancing the technical quality of the videos by cleaning up audio, adjusting sound levels, and applying basic color correction.
- Maintaining a consistent visual style, tone, and pacing across all 15 changemaker videos.
- Delivering final edited assets in optimized formats that are ready for digital outreach and social media distribution. The expected outcome is a suite of 15 polished, visually engaging short videos that effectively amplify the voices of global changemakers and celebrate the UN Trust Fund's 30-year legacy.
