Job Overview:
The position involves hiring an individual consultant to conduct strategic planning and propose detailed agendas for up to 12 international missions over a two-year period. These missions are aimed at sharing best practices, exchanging experiences, and establishing agreements with judicial institutions or research and innovation entities focused on judicial best practices related to cybersecurity. The consultant will be responsible for developing a comprehensive plan that aligns with the objectives of the UNDP and addresses the needs of the participating institutions. This role requires a proactive approach to engage with various stakeholders and ensure the successful execution of the planned missions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be tasked with the following duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify best practices in judicial systems related to cybersecurity.
• Develop a strategic plan outlining the objectives, methodologies, and expected outcomes for each of the 12 international missions.
• Propose detailed agendas for the missions, including timelines, locations, and key participants.
• Facilitate communication and coordination among stakeholders involved in the missions, ensuring alignment with UNDP goals.
• Prepare reports and documentation summarizing the findings and outcomes of each mission.
• Provide recommendations for future initiatives based on the experiences and lessons learned from the missions.
• Ensure compliance with UNDP policies and procedures throughout the planning and execution phases.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in International Relations, Law, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, or related fields.
• A minimum of 1 year of work experience in project management, institutional coordination, or research related to the rule of law, human rights, peace and justice, judiciary, or related areas.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as International Relations, Law, Social Sciences, or Human Sciences. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or related disciplines are considered an asset and may enhance the candidate's profile.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant work experience in project management, institutional coordination, or research. Experience working with international organizations, particularly in the context of judicial systems or cybersecurity, is highly desirable. Familiarity with UNDP processes and procedures will be an advantage.

Languages:
Proficiency in Portuguese is mandatory, as the position is based in Brazil. Knowledge of English is also required, as it may be necessary for communication with international stakeholders. Additional languages relevant to the region or the missions may be considered a plus.

Additional Notes:
This position is for a contract duration of 24 months. It is classified as an individual contractor role, which may involve full-time or part-time commitments depending on the project needs. The consultant will be compensated through bank transfers upon acceptance of deliverables as specified in the Terms of Reference (TOR). The UNDP will apply its exchange rate on the day the payment is instructed to the bank.
