Job Overview:
The position of Volunteer Web Developer is crucial for the Rousto Charity as it seeks to enhance its online presence and improve stakeholder engagement through a new website. Educational Background:
A degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent practical experience in web development may also be considered.
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in web development, particularly with WordPress. Experience in creating websites for non-profit organizations or community-focused initiatives is a plus. The candidate should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and be able to demonstrate a portfolio of previous web development projects.
Languages:
Proficiency in English is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization. Knowledge of Tajik or Russian would be advantageous but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project and communications team to understand the organization's goals and objectives for the new website.
- Design and develop a WordPress website with approximately 10 pages, including sections such as About Us, Our Projects, Contact Us, News and Events, Board of Directors, Our Team, Reports, Legal and Regulatory Documents, and Donate Now.
- Ensure the website is user-friendly, secure, and responsive across various devices.
- Integrate donation functionality to allow users to contribute directly through the website.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure the website operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the website post-launch.
- Collaborate with the UNV to negotiate the final number of pages and features based on their experience and expertise.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in web development, particularly with WordPress.
- Strong understanding of web design principles and user experience best practices.
- Ability to create responsive and accessible web designs.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
