Job Overview: The position of Senior HR Assistant, Recruitment within the Talent Acquisition team at the World Bank Group is pivotal in providing comprehensive recruitment support. Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior HR Assistant will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, which includes job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding. Key responsibilities include:
Recruitment Case Management & Operations: Overseeing the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with World Bank Group policies and standards.
Candidate Review and Longlisting: Conducting thorough reviews of applications to create high-quality longlists that meet business requirements.
HR Systems & Data Integrity: Maintaining accurate records in HR systems, managing confidential candidate data, and ensuring timely updates according to recruitment processes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Inquiry Management: Responding to inquiries from candidates and hiring managers, providing timely updates and support throughout the recruitment process.
Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Ensuring recruitment activities adhere to governance standards and identifying areas for process improvement.
Service Quality & Performance Standards: Contributing to the achievement of service standards, particularly the 75-day Time to Select metric, through effective time management and adaptability to changing requirements.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, management, behavioral sciences, business, or a related field. Relevant experience in recruitment, particularly within a multinational organization, is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout the process. Proficiency in ATS/HRIS systems, particularly PeopleSoft, is required, along with strong data management skills. Candidates should also exhibit excellent organizational abilities, with a focus on workflow management and compliance with documentation standards. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are mandatory, along with proficiency in MS Office applications.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, management, behavioral sciences, business, or a related field is required for this position. This educational background provides the foundational knowledge necessary for understanding recruitment processes and human resource management principles.
Experience: Candidates should have relevant experience in recruitment, ideally within a multinational organization.
