Job Overview:
The position of Auxiliar de Arquitectura NPSA3 Tier 3 is primarily focused on supporting the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism (MINVU) in Chile, particularly in the context of urban and housing reconstruction efforts following disasters. The role involves assisting in the design and development of urban and housing projects that aim to restore living conditions and promote social integration, especially for vulnerable groups. The selected candidate will be involved in the technical development of architectural and urban projects, contributing to the creation of proposals that adhere to the guidelines set by MINVU. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Auxiliar de Arquitectura include:

• Supporting the technical development of architectural and urban projects, including the collection and review of technical and territorial data.
• Assisting in the preparation of urban and housing project specifications and budgets.
• Collaborating in the design of visual representations such as renders for proposed projects.
• Contributing to the development of new architectural and urban design proposals for ongoing projects under MINVU.
• Engaging in knowledge sharing and capacity building relevant to the project.
• Performing additional functions as required to ensure the effective operation of the project and the organization. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for this position include a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in landscape architecture, urban development, and project management. Candidates should possess strong technical skills in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with remote work tools like Microsoft Teams and Zoom, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to manage internal and external communications effectively. Experience in multidisciplinary technical work and public presentations is also desirable.

Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is a completed secondary education. However, a professional degree in architecture or a related field is preferred. Candidates with additional certifications or specialized training in urban planning or project management will be considered favorably.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in the fields of landscape architecture, urban design, and project execution. Experience in managing multidisciplinary projects and working in collaborative environments is highly valued. The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work under pressure is also important for this role.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is required for this position, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization and with stakeholders. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset but is not mandatory.
