Job Overview:
The E T Consultant - Intake Officer position at the World Bank is a critical role within the Ethics and Internal Justice Services Vice Presidency (EIJ VPU). This position is designed to support the investigative activities related to allegations of misconduct by WBG staff, including issues such as harassment, conflicts of interest, and misuse of resources. The Intake Officer will be responsible for the initial assessment of allegations, ensuring that all processes are conducted with the utmost professionalism, timeliness, and quality. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the E T Consultant - Intake Officer include:

• Registering, categorizing, and tracking all allegations of misconduct and inquiries in the case management system, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.
• Managing incoming allegations of misconduct, conducting assessments, and analyzing the issues presented in each case.
• Interviewing complainants and gathering additional information from various sources to facilitate thorough assessments.
• Making verbal and written recommendations to the INV Manager regarding the appropriate disposition of allegations, including whether to close cases at intake or open preliminary inquiries.
• Maintaining high-quality standards for the intake process, ensuring compliance with the INV’s key performance indicators (KPIs) and service delivery standards.
• Participating in investigation teams as needed, conducting fact-finding missions, interviewing witnesses, and drafting concise investigation reports.
• Sharing best practices and lessons learned across units and with clients, articulating ideas clearly and compellingly to diverse audiences.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the E T Consultant - Intake Officer position must possess a master’s degree or equivalent in fields such as criminology, criminal justice, accounting, or analytics, along with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Applicants should have experience in conducting administrative fraud and workplace misconduct investigations, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of investigatory methodologies and best practices, particularly within international public organizations. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the role requires effective collaboration within teams and across departments.
