Duties and Responsibilities:
Support logistics activities during humanitarian responses, including assessment, planning, implementation, and coordination.
Prepare proposals for food assistance requirements based on needs assessments, adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
Manage the tendering process, contract awards, and contractor performance for services required for effective food assistance delivery.
Coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities, ensuring proper documentation for receipt and storage of food aid.
Organize and coordinate food aid distributions, collaborating with staff and local authorities for smooth operations.
Maintain close collaboration with the Operations team to facilitate smooth warehouse operations and resolve any operational issues.

Required Qualifications: • University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. • At least two years of relevant experience in supply chain management, warehousing, and/or logistics within a humanitarian organization or private sector companies dealing with humanitarian projects. • Experience in managing warehouses and large teams is essential. • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is crucial. • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and maintain good relations with clients, partners, and colleagues. • Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities are required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary. • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is desirable.
