Job Overview:
The Senior Office Administrator plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Muscat Country Office of the World Bank Group. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of daily activities and adherence to the organization's standards and procedures. The Senior Office Administrator will be responsible for managing all aspects of office operations, creating a welcoming and professional environment for staff and visitors, and serving as the first point of contact for various stakeholders, including government officials and service providers. The role also involves organizing travel arrangements, managing procurement processes, and maintaining strong relationships with key administrative contacts. The Senior Office Administrator will proactively identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance administrative efficiency and support the strategic goals of the WBG Oman team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Office Administrator include managing office operations and facilities, ensuring a pleasant office environment, overseeing office equipment maintenance, and liaising with service providers. The administrator will coordinate leave for staff, organize travel arrangements in compliance with WBG policies, and manage procurement accountability for goods and services. They will also track expenses, monitor budgets, process invoices, and maintain relationships with government ministries. The role requires drafting and editing correspondence, managing complex calendars, and coordinating meetings for senior staff. Additionally, the administrator will maintain confidential files, support the planning of WBG missions and events, and perform other duties as assigned by the Country Manager.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Senior Office Administrator position must possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant administrative and office management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with high-level executive management is essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic. Strong organizational and time management skills are required, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. The ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and experience in fast-paced international or governmental organizations are considered advantageous.

Educational Background:
