The position of Representative for WHH Canada is a pivotal role that involves leading and representing the organization in Canada. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Representative will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: managing WHH Canada in compliance with Canadian legal and regulatory requirements; positioning WHH Canada as a trusted partner in the humanitarian and development sector; building and maintaining strategic relationships with GAC, Canadian NGOs, and other stakeholders; actively participating in Canadian NGO networks and working groups; supporting WHH country offices in donor engagement and funding applications; representing WHH Canada at conferences and external events; and fostering partnerships that enhance the organization's visibility and effectiveness in Canada.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in social sciences, development studies, international relations, or a related field. A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in international development cooperation is required. Strong knowledge of the Canadian institutional funding landscape, particularly with Global Affairs Canada, is essential. Proven experience in external representation, business development, partnership management, and relationship building is also necessary. Candidates should demonstrate excellent negotiation, networking, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholders and perform well under pressure.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a university degree in social sciences, development studies, international relations, or a comparable field. This educational foundation is crucial for understanding the complexities of international development and humanitarian work, as well as for engaging effectively with various stakeholders in the sector.

Experience:
