Job Overview: As a Référent·e Acquisition et Engagement des Donateurs, you will be directly responsible for acquiring and retaining donors for Handicap International Luxembourg. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, your role will involve ensuring a high-quality, human, and engaged relationship with donors. You will deploy, coordinate, and optimize various channels for donor acquisition and engagement. This position is within a small organization of about 20 people, where you will work collaboratively across departments. You will also work closely with the Philanthropy and Partnerships department, as well as with the Communication, Global Citizenship Education (ECM), and Development and Emergency Aid project departments to identify opportunities and maximize the effectiveness of your actions.
Duties and Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities will include implementing and coordinating actions to recruit new donors in the field through door-to-door campaigns, private venues, events, and targeted actions in companies or schools. You will deploy telemarketing campaigns for reactivation, lead qualification, welcome calls, and post-first donation engagement. Additionally, you will develop the lifetime value of donors through retention campaigns, handling payment incidents, converting one-time donors into regular ones, and upgrading their contributions. You will design, test, and improve operational tools such as scripts, arguments, and support materials. Monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of your actions will be crucial, as will producing activity reports and operational analyses. You will ensure a quality donor relationship by addressing inquiries through various channels (phone, email, mail) and ensuring a positive experience at every interaction. Furthermore, you will support cross-departmental actions and events to engage with our audiences.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should have confirmed experience in a commercial, development, or fundraising role, including field contact and telemarketing. Mastery of sales techniques, argumentation, and mobilization is essential, along with proficiency in office tools, CRM systems, and results tracking. You should be autonomous, rigorous, and organized, with a strong sense of priorities. Excellent interpersonal skills, a developed service orientation, and the ability to listen, persuade, and build long-term relationships are required. Analytical, structuring, and reporting skills are also necessary, as is the ability to organize and disseminate operational practices. Experience in the associative, humanitarian, or social economy sectors is preferred. Your motivation and alignment with HI's values will be key differentiators.
