Job Overview: The position of Assistante ou Assistant within the Pool Unit de Préparation et Réponses is designed for a candidate who can provide support to the delegated management of emergencies. The role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of the Emergency Response and Recovery Unit (ERRU). The successful candidate will contribute to administrative support and communication efforts, assist in organizing strategic workshops for ERRU, and facilitate meetings or working sessions as needed. This role also includes responsibilities for drafting various reports, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and situational notes, as well as contributing to communication reports and technical sheets for the ERRU. The candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating the dissemination of information within the organization and supporting the development of alert systems and context analyses. Additionally, the role involves assisting with financial aspects and grant writing, as well as developing tools for the unit and seeking funding opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities for this position include:
Providing administrative support to the ERRU and enhancing its communication strategies.
Assisting in the organization of strategic workshops for ERRU scheduled for September 2026 and ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
Coordinating and facilitating meetings or work sessions, taking notes, and disseminating information effectively.
Contributing to the preparation of various activity reports, including KPIs and situational notes.
Assisting in the development of communication reports for ERRU, including newsletters and success stories.
Contributing to the creation of technical sheets for ERRU, including the presentation booklet.
Coordinating the dissemination of communication materials within ACF, including sharing photos, reports, and experiences.
Supporting the development of alert systems and context analyses, including regular monitoring and reporting.
Assisting in the drafting of context analysis papers and preparing exploratory missions. 1
Supporting financial tracking and grant management, including writing project proposals and donor reports. 1
Assisting in the development of tools for the unit and supporting funding research efforts.
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Experience working in a team setting, whether through associations, collective projects, or international experiences.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Autonomy and proactivity in work approach.
Excellent writing skills, with a strong command of the French language.
Educational Background: Candidates must have a valid internship agreement issued by a French educational institution. A background in Political Science, International Humanitarian Action, or a related field is preferred, ideally at the Master’s level.
Experience: Candidates should have prior experience working in teams, which can be gained through various settings such as volunteer work, collective projects, or international assignments. This experience is essential to demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse environment.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory, as the role requires strong writing and communication skills in the language. Proficiency in English or other languages would be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to engage in international contexts and communications.

The internship is compensated at a rate of 4.57 euros net per hour, based on a 35-hour work week, with a total weekly working time of 38.75 hours. Additionally, meal vouchers worth 8 euros are provided, with 60% covered by ACF, and 50% reimbursement for public transport costs. ACF has a telework policy that allows for remote work while ensuring necessary in-office presence, with regular attendance at the Montreuil office expected, alongside approximately three days per month dedicated to meetings and collective events.
