Job Overview:
CIMMYT is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented leader for the position of Hospitality Manager within the Business Services Department. This role is crucial for overseeing the hospitality services at CIMMYT's headquarters in Texcoco, State of Mexico, near Mexico City. The Hospitality Manager will be responsible for coordinating the activities of Food & Beverage, Hotel, and Housing Managers, ensuring that all services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The position requires a proactive approach to market research and customer feedback to tailor services effectively, as well as the design and execution of promotional campaigns to enhance hospitality offerings. The successful candidate will also be tasked with developing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for safety and hygiene, organizing training sessions on safety protocols, and driving revenue growth through strategic business planning and marketing initiatives. Financial management is a key aspect of this role, as the manager will need to oversee budgets, control costs, and ensure that financial targets are met while developing policies and procedures for efficient operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Hospitality Manager will oversee and coordinate the activities of Food & Beverage, Hotel, and Housing Managers. Key responsibilities include conducting market research and customer surveys to tailor services, designing and executing promotional campaigns for hospitality services, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards, developing and enforcing SOPs for safety and hygiene, organizing training sessions on safety protocols, driving revenue growth through effective business planning and marketing, managing budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring financial targets are met. The manager will also develop policies and procedures for efficient operations, resolve complex issues and handle escalations, and conduct performance evaluations while promoting staff development.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in hospitality management is required, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in managing financial operations across multiple business lines is essential. Additionally, candidates should have advanced English proficiency (C1 level) and be native Spanish speakers. IT skills required include advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and ERP systems, preferably Dynamics AX.

Educational Background:
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of hospitality management and business operations.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in hospitality management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. This experience should include managing financial operations across multiple business lines, demonstrating the ability to drive revenue growth and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Languages:
Advanced English (C1) is mandatory, and being a native Spanish speaker is essential for effective communication within the organization and with clients.
