Duties and Responsibilities: The primary duties of the Driver include: driving UNHCR vehicles for the transport of authorized passengers, delivering and collecting documents and other items, meeting official personnel at airports or other locations, and facilitating immigration and customs formalities as required. The driver is responsible for performing day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicles, which includes checking oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, and ensuring that the vehicles are roadworthy and maintained according to established security standards. The driver must also perform minor repairs, arrange for other repairs when necessary, and keep the vehicle clean. In case of an accident, the driver is required to follow the necessary procedures and ensure that all documentation for passengers, items, or cargo in the vehicle is valid. Additionally, the driver is expected to log official trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, and other relevant details, while strictly adhering to instructions and security guidance provided by the supervisor and security focal point. The driver may also be called upon to support the identification and management of risks and to seek opportunities impacting objectives in their area of responsibility.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a valid driving license and have knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
