Job Overview: The E T Consultant Global Research Economist position at the World Bank is designed for individuals who are passionate about contributing to economic development and poverty reduction. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the E T Consultant Global Research Economist include supporting the DECRG Land team in global monitoring of land data, conducting research on institutional arrangements for land policy, and implementing impact evaluations of land-related programs. The consultant will analyze global spatial and institutional data to inform policy reforms and measure institutional effectiveness. Additionally, the consultant will facilitate learning across regions and countries, drawing implications for operational approaches and strategies. The role also involves generating analytical products that will inform Bank lending and support the design and evaluation of interventions related to land rights and use. The consultant is expected to communicate findings effectively to policymakers and contribute to the development of research products that can garner support within the Bank and beyond.
