Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Infrastructure Upgrade Project Technician include: A. Replacement of Fixed VHF Radio Systems, including the preparation of a replacement report and ensuring all identified radios are replaced and functional. B. Replacement of old Handheld Radios, requiring the technician to install and configure 100 units, verify communication, and complete inventory records. C. Replacement of Vehicle Radios and Antennas, ensuring proper installation and signal strength. D. Installation and Integration of Redundant Satellite Connectivity, which involves configuring both VSAT and Starlink systems for mission operations. E. Upgrade of MOTOTRBO Radio Manager and TRBOnet Plus, ensuring full system functionality post-upgrade. F. Integration between TrboNet Plus with UNGSC UNITE Aware, validating connectivity and data transmission. G. CCTV System Upgrade, ensuring all upgraded cameras are operational and recording. H. Fiber Optic Backbone Repair, restoring signal integrity and validating performance. I. FRIM (IoT) Deployment for Water Monitoring, confirming data transmission and monitoring functionality. J. FRIM (IoT) Deployment for Power Monitoring, capturing consumption data and detecting abnormal usage patterns. K. Systems Integration, ensuring all systems function together and completing end-to-end testing. L. Preparation of Equipment for Write-Off, documenting all replaced equipment and aligning with UN procedures. M. Required Qualifications:

Knowledge of basic electronic circuit troubleshooting is essential, along with demonstrated proficiency in telecommunications systems. The technician should also have experience working with fiber optics and structured cabling, and proficiency in Avigilon CCTV systems is required. Certifications for IoT systems or FRIM platforms are also required.
