Job Overview: The position of National Consultant - Partner Coalition Coordinator involves coordinating the Dialogue Platform of the Project Partner Organizations, specifically the Alliance of MSME Business Membership Organizations (BMO Alliance). This role is crucial for facilitating communication and collaboration among various stakeholders involved in the project. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring that the objectives of the coalition are met, which includes organizing meetings, managing discussions, and synthesizing feedback from partner organizations. The consultant will work closely with UNDP and other partners to align the coalition's activities with broader project goals. This position is home-based in Ukraine, allowing for flexibility while still requiring a strong commitment to the coalition's success. The assignment is expected to last for six months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
Duties and Responsibilities: The National Consultant will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Coordinating the activities of the Dialogue Platform, ensuring effective communication among partner organizations.
Organizing and facilitating meetings, workshops, and discussions to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among coalition members.
Collecting and analyzing feedback from partners to inform project strategies and activities.
Preparing reports and documentation related to coalition activities, including meeting minutes and progress updates.
Engaging with stakeholders to promote the objectives of the BMO Alliance and ensure alignment with UNDP's goals.
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of coalition activities and making recommendations for improvements.
Ensuring compliance with UNDP procurement processes and guidelines throughout the assignment.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a strong set of qualifications to be considered for this position. This includes a proven track record in project management, particularly in the context of coalition building and stakeholder engagement. Familiarity with the MSME sector and experience working with business membership organizations will be highly advantageous. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment. Proficiency in using digital communication tools and platforms is also essential, as the role will involve remote coordination.
Educational Background: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, international relations, or social sciences is required.
